and welcome to Airfield Aviation Ltd, the company was set up in late 2005 with the objective of building & displaying replica aircraft. Based in North Yorkshire the collection currently comprises an Isaacs Fury K2048 which represents the OC’s aircraft in service with Number 1 Sqn RAF in 1933, a further Fury is under completion representing the aircraft flown by Flt Lt Ben Bennions of 41 Sqn in 1939. An almost completed Jurca Spitfire representing the aircraft flown by Flt Lt Lovell 41 Sqn from RAF Catterick in 1940, & finally the last piston engine fighter/bomber to see active service, the Soko Kraguj from the former Yugoslavia, one of only four flying in the world. The Soko is available for display on its own or with the Yak 52 operated from Breighton airfield.
